StreetCats is operated by volunteers only!

If you would like to volunteer with us, you can download a Volunteer Application. However, we want you to bring application into our facility and check us out. After you have brought in your application, our scheduling volunteer will call you and explain about our scheduling.

A few of the tasks we do: In the mornings we empty and wash litter boxes, sweep and mop, wash bedding and food and water bowls. In the afternoons we clean cat trees and dust and vacuum our boutique. We do use disinfectants with bleach. Please be sure you are willing and capable of doing these tasks and using bleach before you apply to volunteer.

We are located at 3105 S. Winston Ave., Tulsa, OK, south of 31st st. and west of Yale Ave. We are open Tuesday- Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Most Needed – Wal-Mart/Sam’s Gift Cards any denomination

  • Non Clumping Clay litter (we use clay in our facility)

  • Tall strong kitchen size trash bags – prefer Glad, Hefty, or Sam’s Club

  • Laundry detergent pods

  • 8 ½ x 11 white printer paper

  • Clorox liquid bleach

  • Clorox Spray Cleaner or refill container

  • Dawn dish liquid soap

  • Small bottles of water for volunteers (Neighborhood Market or Wal-Mart)

  • Square facial tissues

  • Toilet paper

  • Lint rollers with sticky tape

  • Dryer sheets

  • Fancy Feast canned food various flavors both pate and grilled (the cats prefer this)

  • Fancy Feast Seafood Broth (loved by all but especially for Peaches)

  • Purina EN dry cat food

  • Postage Stamps

  • Unopened bags of dry cat food for Dick Connor Correctional Center

  • NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME: Paper towels, Friskies cat food
