LOLA

LOLA

Lola is a brown tabby with an estimated birthdate of 1/1/2023 and she weighs about 10 lbs.  She was rescued as a mom with kittens and the kittens went to TSPCA so she needs her own home – she’s been in foster care for about a year.  She can be shy at first but she’s very sweet, loving and cuddly once she adjusts to new people and a new environment.  She loves catnip, sitting on cat trees, playing in tunnels, etc.  She is a lap kitty and would be great for someone who works from home.  She probably will be best as the only cat in a home so she can feel comfortable (originally she was on the streets and can be nervous around  other cats).

PRINCESS

PRINCESS

Princess is a darling black and white tuxedo one year old cat.  She is very friendly and outgoing and loves to have your attention and be petted.  Her foster mom says she does listen and she likes to be cozy.  She’s very active in StreetCats and she’s getting used to our other cats.  Her foster mom thinks she’d be a great kitty with a family and possibly one other cat as a companion.

TOBY

TOBY

Toby is a brown tabby male that was rescued apparently after his original owner in 2020 abandoned or lost him at some point in time.  He was born in 2020.  His foster kept him separate from Crow because they did not get along.  He was previously microchipped so he was owned at one time.  Right now he is very shy and he enjoys sharing a house with Pasta who seems to take care of all new cats.  We don’t know if he’s been around dogs but his foster didn’t think he’d be good around children in case he gives a love bite.  In StreetCats (less than a week) he loves to be petted and he enjoys eating wet food.

MIDNIGHT

MIDNIGHT

Midnight is a black female who is front declawed with an estimated birthdate of 12/10/2019.  Midnight was originally rescued by a couple probably about 2021 and lived inside since then.  Unfortunately, the wife died in August 2024 and the husband was confined to a mobile wheelchair and unable to care for Midnight.  A neighbor stepped in and was coming over daily to feed Midnight and keep her litter box cleaned, but realized Midnight needed a new home.  Midnight was relinquished by the gentleman and came into StreetCats along with a scratching post, a small cat tree, lots of wet and dry food and her favorite bed and toys.  The nice neighbor told us she was shy of strangers in her home and she would be shy at first in StreetCats, which she is, but she loves to be petted and I think she is looking for another loving home  She has not been around children and I think an adult home could be best for her.  She’s a very sweet girl and she is moving around in the cat area and seems to be getting along with other cats even though she’s never lived with other cats.

CROW

CROW

Crow is a very handsome blue tabby male with an estimated birthdate of 12/25/2022.  He weighs only 8.74 lbs.  Per his foster mom he is playful but should not be around children. She also said he can be very attentive to his owner and he was riding on her back around her neck. He has also jumped up the front of a volunteer in StreetCats and he seems to want attention from everyone. He is getting along with all the cats in StreetCats although he might growl a little bit but he’s used to being the only cat. He is sometimes vocal in StreetCats asking for attention. He roams around a lot in StreetCats and does like to be the Play Room.

PEACHES

PEACHES

She is very sweet and friendly, but other cats seem to make her nervous.  She prefers Purina EN dry food and likes creamy seafood wet food.  Adopted 8/2021 and returned 9/2022 due to peeing outside of litter box but she wasn’t on medicine consistently.  Owner loved her but decided to return her.  She uses a “regular” litter box that has clay litter in it, but she occasionally will pee on a puppy pad.  She is on Fluoxetine to reduce stress and hopefully keep her from peeing in places other than the litter box.  Fluoxetine is a gel that goes on the hairless area of an ear flap – switch ear flaps daily.  This medication is in a transdermal gel applicator and is easy to give.  The cost of this medicine is $75.34 for three pens on an auto ship for every 12 weeks.  This medicine does have to be set up by her vet and Feline Specialties does this for her now.  She would love to have a home of her own as the only pet in the home.
